4:00 – The Resignation of Pope Benedict XVI: Two Bishops Reflect
In this hour we will hear from 2 MI Bishops who will reflect on the resignation of the Holy Father. First Bishop Joseph Cistone of the Diocese of Saginaw and then Bishop Earl Boyea of the Diocese of Lansing.

5:00 – The Meaning of Ash Wednesday and Living the Season of Lent
Ash Wednesday, of course, marks the beginning of the Season of Lent, a time for penance, fasting and self reflection which readies the soul for celebration of Christ's Resurrection on Easter Sunday. Lent is meant to allow the penitent to participate symbolically in the forty days fasting and temptation of Jesus in the desert which began his public ministry, and culminated in His crucifixion and resurrection. Al offers commentary on the meaning of Ash Wednesday, our practices during Lent, and the culmination of this penitential season.
